Step One:
We begin by carefully removing the vehicle’s headliner to prepare it for the starlight installation. This includes protecting the interior, disconnecting the battery, and removing trim pieces such as pillars, visors, and interior lights.
Once the headliner board is safely removed, it’s inspected and prepped for the next stage.
Our standard starlight kit includes a combination of over 400 individual shimmering and shooting stars, creating a breathtaking night-sky effect; even before any custom logos or patterns are added.

Step Two:
Once the headliner board is prepped, the next step is to carefully map out where each fibre optic light will go.
Using a fine pen, we mark precise points across the surface based on the desired starlight pattern. For custom designs—such as logos or lettering—this stage requires extra attention, as we first sketch the layout by hand to ensure accuracy before any drilling begins.
Once everything is mapped out, we begin drilling tiny, clean holes at each marked point, ready for the fibre optics to be threaded through.

Step Three:
With the holes precisely drilled, we begin inserting the fibre optic strands through each one from the back of the headliner.
This process requires patience and precision to ensure every strand is properly seated and aligned with the design. For custom patterns or logos, we carefully follow the marked layout to bring the design to life.
Once all fibres are in place, they are secured neatly at the rear to keep everything tidy and stable. This step forms the foundation of the starlight effect, setting the stage for a flawless finish.

Step Four:
Once all the fibre optic strands are in place, we move on to sealing them securely to the back of the headliner.
Using a strong, heat-resistant adhesive, each strand is carefully fixed to ensure it stays firmly positioned, even with vehicle movement or temperature changes.
For custom patterns or logos, this step is done with extra precision to preserve the design’s accuracy.

Step Five:
The fibre optic strands are connected to a light source, which is installed discreetly within the vehicle.
All wiring is neatly routed and synced with a mobile app, allowing full control of colours, brightness, and effects from your phone.
After successful testing, we trim the fibre ends flush with the headliner surface, creating that flawless, star-like glow.

Step Six:
The final step is reinstalling the headliner into the vehicle. All interior trims, lights, and panels are carefully and securely put back in place, leaving the cabin clean and factory-fresh.
Once installed, we carry out a full system test using the mobile app - checking brightness, colour changes, and patterns - to ensure everything works flawlessly. The result is a stunning, custom starlight headliner that transforms the interior into a premium, ambient space.
